Hepatitis B is the world’s deadliest virus. 250+ million people are infected with HBV worldwide, and 85% don’t know they carry the virus. This scenario cries out for a high-quality, point-of-care diagnostic solution, and that’s what our research team is providing. We have achieved laboratory quality detection of the HBV surface antigen and two key antibodies from a single fingerstick of blood simultaneously and in under 30 minutes. Our aim is to make blood diagnostics simple, fast and high-quality, and microfluidics is the key.
